Robert served as project lead on Cornerstone Apartments, a multi-site, mixed-income artist-oriented housing development involving new construction and adaptive re-use in the Washington Park neighborhood of Bronzeville, and as project manager on such visible projects as: The Park Monroe Condominiums, a multi-phase adaptive re-use of ten floors of a 49-story office structure into luxury residences; the award-winning LEED® Platinum Pomeroy Apartments, the restoration and adaptive re-use of a 1920’s vintage building to a flagship senior living center for the Chicago Housing Authority; Metropolitan Tower, the adaptive re-use of an obsolete high-rise office building into a mixed-use luxury condominium complex overlooking Millennium Park; University Station, the historic renovation and adaptive re-use of an historic cold storage warehouse to 230 loft-style dwellings and Domain, the historic renovation of a former Montgomery Wards and Company warehouse complex that includes 292 loft-style units, retail spaces, parking and a riverwalk and marina at the Chicago River. Projects outside of Chicago include; 30 Hop, Pullman and Big Grove Brewery, exciting restaurant and taproom projects in Iowa featuring contemporary design and sophisticated interiors.

In addition to his contribution to the firms historic renovation credentials, Robert serves as the firm’s Information Technology lead, responsible for overseeing the firm’s technical initiatives, systems research and quality assurance/quality control practices. Pursuant to this, he recently published a case study on an ArchiCAD blog which highlights the firm’s use of BIM on the recently completed Alta Roosevelt.
