The full renovation of this Art Deco former hospital building preserves the rich architectural detail of the structure’s ornate limestone and marble facade while dramatically altering the interior to create new and distinctive retail and office space. The south and east walls of the building have been opened up to provide an abundance of natural light on all floors and views of the downtown area and Lake Michigan. Amenities include all new plumbing and electrical systems, new elevators, bathrooms on each floor, energy efficient HVAC and thermopane windows, roof deck, and new tenant parking lot on adjacent land. The new ground floor lobby features a stainless steel colonnade, terrazzo floors, and a steel and glass entry canopy, identifying the retail entrance.
