His specialized knowledge and technical coordination skills have been key to the success of a wide range of projects, including: The Bridgeport; a block-long, mixed-use development in Chicago’s historic Bridgeport neighborhood, Tower Crossing; two semi-circular townhouse enclaves at the North and South end of the award-winning Glen Town Center in Glenview, Illinois, and River Walk; a 130-unit townhouse and condominium development along the north branch of the Chicago River.
Recent projects in Chicago include: the award-winning Park Douglas (Phase 1); a 19-building, 137-unit mixed-housing scattered sites project that includes public housing units, low- and moderate- income units, market-rate units, and an on-site LEED® Gold certified management office, Klee Plaza at Six Corners; a 64-unit mixed-use development located in Portage Park’s ‘historic style’ Six Corners shopping district that involved the complete renovation of the Klee Building, Lexington Square; an award-winning, 39-unit townhouse development located in the City’s historic Bridgeport neighborhood, and Luxe on Madison (Phase II); a new 53,000 sq. ft., 44-unit addition to a boutique mixed-use apartment complex (formerly The Mod Apartments).
Work outside Illinois includes; Trailside at Harbor Shores; a cottage style single-family-home development in Benton Harbor, Michigan, and an 80,000 sq. ft. office and retail building (Building A/B) and a 6,000 sq. ft. restaurant (30Hop) within Iowa River Landing, a new 180-acre, master-planned mixed-use development along the I-80 corridor in Coralville, Iowa.
Patrick began his professional career at Schroeder Murchie Laya Associates, Ltd., Chicago, Illinois, where he worked as project architect on various multi-family residential, adaptive re-use and affordable housing projects in locations throughout the midwest.
