Since 1981 we have designed iconic forms in urban environments. Starting with adaptive reuse and single-family renovations, we quickly expanded up through apartments, mid-rises, high-rises and tall towers of 80 stories or more – and out through row house developments, apartment and townhouse communities, and complex mixed-use environments.

From our roots in the Near-North Side of Chicago, we have expanded nationally. After decades of bringing back the old neighborhoods, we are now reordering a world-class skyline with projects that will rank among the 10 tallest Chicago structures. And with our history as leaders in determining issues of urbanism and the regeneration of cities, we are moving into other product categories that are seeing more value in an urbanist approach.
